Brief statement of the job:The onsite project manager is responsible and accountable for managing the on-site project management function. In this role, he/she is the one-point contact for all customer requirements; Also responsible for developing people on-site; His/her responsibility cuts across SBUs; Directly responsible for business growth in the account (in the absence of account managers for that account) or responsible for supporting account managers/directors in obtaining further business in the account. Key responsibilities:1. One-point contact for the customer for all requirements of the project a) Oversee, supervise delivery personnel on-site to ensure that project is on track b) Co-ordinate with offshore resources w.r.t client requirements/changes c) Solve problems that arise in the execution of the project 2. Build relationships with client executives and act as one-point contact for projects running at the client 3. Increase business from client through tactical account management (in cases where account managers not specifically assigned to that account; Where account managers assigned, work along with him/her in identifying further business opportunities and providing support in key meetings/presentations Critical skills:1. Strong general management skills (business acumen) 2. Ability to work well with a wide range of people, motivate them and provide constructive feedback 3. Communication skills for internal meetings and business presentations 4. Relationship building skills Organizational relationships:1. Dual reporting – one to the Business Delivery Owner and second to the Account Director of the account 2. External relationship with key customer executives 3. Internal relationship with project managers and account managers Key performance indicators:1. Client satisfaction 2. Revenue targets where applicable
